It is believed that Dr. Solem likely acquired this figure from Wade's Stratford of Ontario in the late 70's.

A stone figure most likely depicting an Inuit fisherman/hunter leaning over an opening in the ice. There originally would
have been a spear in one hand that would have been attached to a rope coming from the other hand. Minor surface
abrasions, but otherwise in good condition.
