I acquired the car from Valdez Motorsports in TN in February 2013 and it had 19,700 miles on it and have owned it since then. The CarFax report linked above was corrected by CarFax on June 4th because it originally showed 4 owners when there were only actually 3. I have also submitted a correction with Auto Check which is the other vehicle reporting service to get it corrected with them.

I have maintained the vehicle well. The only mechanical issues I've encountered were a faulty oxygen sensor and two fuel injectors that I replaced. The belts were changed at 35k miles, and the rear differential fluid was changed at 50k miles. Originally, the car came with a vinyl convertible top, which I replaced with a cloth top in 2014. The cloth top is still in excellent condition and has been recently ceramic coated along with the headlights. I regularly clean and condition the leather seats. The driver’s seat has some normal wear in the section towards the door, but overall the leather is in great shape, as is all of the vinyl and metal interior pieces. I have always used synthetic oil for oil changes and premium fuel.

I had the car dyno-tuned (UpRev Osiris) which gives it an extra 20-25HP, but it also added a valet mode to the car and an electronic kill switch which are activated by a sequence of button presses on the steering wheel. The valet mode will limit the car to 25 MPH, so if you valet it they can’t drive it fast. For the electronic kill switch you activate it when you’re parked and it will turn off the car and won’t allow the car to start again unless the key sequence is pressed again.

The Tanabe Hyper Medallion exhaust sounds really great in my opinion, it’s a nice deep tone that doesn’t have that drone sound at all. The Injen Cyborg cold air intake is nice, but it doesn’t like sitting in traffic for a long time when it’s really hot outside.

The Carfax value on the report doesn’t take into account any of the extras the car has, and I think they are a definite value add, and the car is low mileage and in fantastic condition for its age. The body kit, which is well done, makes the car unique from other 350Zs.
