An interesting and attractive head crest from the Igbo of Nigeria. I enjoy the lines and curves of this one, as well as the great red pigment. I love how the jaw juts out and compliments the high peak of the forehead when viewed from the side. An object like this would have been tied to a costume fitting over or around the head.
