A beautiful janus-faced headdress with wonderful use of polychrome. The faces remind me of the bust of Nefrititi. There are mirrors on either side, and most likely there was something else that was originally attached or set into the top of the headdress which is no longer present. Pigments like this have been documented on objects like this starting in the 40’s.
